16-7-2008 - Almost 30 weeks!

My mood while writing this blog: nervous

Wow it is so hard to believe that in 10 weeks I am going to be a mom!

A year ago I was planning on what parties I was going to go to and shopping for clothes every spare minute.

Now I think staying up past 11 is a LATE night and shop for anything and everything you could possibly need for a baby!

I could go out whenever I felt like it and never stayed home.

In 10 weeks my whole schedule and life as I know it will revolve around a little baby boy.I won't even want to go out and do anything unless I can take him with me!

At first I was scared of having this huge responsiblity.Now my perception is completely different.

I get to love someone with all of my heart and he will love me too.I get to teach him how to dribble a basketball and play catch.I will get his one of a kind artwork and his sticky popsicle kisses.I get to have someone to read stories to and draw all over the sidewalk with.I get to take him trick or treating and to the duck pond to feed all of the ducks.I get to teach him to cast a fishing pole and how to walk.

It's just amazing to me.I know I am not the "I love to be pregnant type" but I am defiantely the "I love being a mom" type.

Being pregnant has been rough but in 10 weeks I will be able to hold my son and it will all be over.

Your blog is really cute. As a mommy to two boys, it is everything you described. Sticky kisses, masterpiece artwork, feeding duckies, etc. If you already are excited for all of these things and are not yet a mommy, you are going to make an excellent one. Your little guy is going to make you appreciate all the small things in life. Today I got to listen to my 2 1/2 yr old laugh hysterically as a little froggy kept jumping out of his hands. There is nothing in this world that can compare to that : )
