Leila's Birth Story!!! I went in for our 36 wk check up...on 9/10/08. I had an unltrasound done to check if she was in head down position. Her bladder was enlarged and fluid was backing up into her kidneys! I was rushed to the hospital to be induced. She was born at 8:07pm on 9/11/08. Leila Kathleen was 5 pounds and 1 ounce, at 18 3/4 inches long! She had to stay in the NICU for 10 days due to breathing problems. But she is now home and safe! She's a beautiful baby that hardly cries and LOVES to eat lol!! They had to tube feed her at the NICU so once she started breast feeding.. she decided she loved milk haha! Now she has put on 2 pounds in the last month in a half. And her doctors say she is doing great :)
