Hello mommies! Its been almost 2 month's since my baby love, Leila Kathleen was born. My hubby and I just ADORE her.. Being a mother is soo much more fulfilling that anyone could ever describe! I feel there is more to life than the mundane school/work scenario. The love and protectivness that one feels for such a little innocent being has no measurement. I would do ANYTHING to ensure that my wee bit is well taken care of. Leila is such a happy baby; she never hardly cries unless something is bothering her.. and she stops as soon as I fix the problem.. whether it be hungry, tired.. wants to be cuddled ect... I enjoy just watching her take in the world.. her reactions to the simplest things are so pure and genuine that I find myself noticing the quality of something one may take for granted.. such as the color of shirt I am wearing... the grace of my cat walking across the room.. birds or squrriels moving in the yard. Having a child makes one stop and look at all the little things around you. Children are truely a blessing and should always be kept close to the heart. As a parent you are entrusted with this ever trusting life that depends on you to care and nurture it's growing mind. The love and pure adoration that radiaties from a your childs eyes when they look up at you... manifests a feeling even I cannot accurately describe. Motherhood is a pure blessing.. and I wish to be blessed with many more children! Blessed be! - With love Leila's Momma
