25-1-2009 - 26 Weeks!

My mood while writing this blog: tired

So 26 Weeks... so far it is hectic! Ok let me start off by saying I have been in pain... So much pressure down by my you know what and I finally called the doc after feeling this pain and pressure for a week and a half. He tells me to go to the hospital. I get to the hospital, they hook me up with a bunch of monitors (well 2 the heart one and the contraction one). I thought I was gonna be in and out of the hospital. Another lady who was 27 weeks came in the same time for not a lot of fetal movement. She went home in the 45 min because I guess the baby was moving she just wasnt feeling him/her. So im still there for an hour because I was having contractions evey 5 to 6 min apart and not even feeling them. I felt some, but not enough for me to be alarmed about. But When they told me I was I got scared. I waslike this isnt even why I came to you guys. So after 2 1/2 hours they finally gave me that breathine (sp) shot to stop my contractions. Well they slowed down slowly, but eventually slowed down. I guess I have a bladder infection and that is why I hurt so bad down there. Needless to say I was there for 5 hours so 2 girls come and go. I didnt even think anything serious. I couldnt believe I was having contractions. Im not dialated or thinned out or anything. THey said I was not in preterm labor but having preterm contractions. I dont know if that makes sense, but everything is good. I am home and soooo dont wanna go back there until this baby comes out!!!! The stay was fine, nurses were nice, just dont like being there so early in my pregnancy ya know. But anyhoo... ive gained a total of 16lbs. I go to the doc on the 9th for my sugar test and sometime the end of next week for a check up on everything. Baby is very active. We still do not have a name for him, but will soon! I cant believe you are that far along already! I am putting pics up of DestinyJo so you can see how big she has gotten. Before I know it you will be puttin pics up of your lil one!!!!!!

I can't believe you are 26 weeks already I feel like you just told us you were PG. LOL well anyway I am so glad everything is okay continue to take it easy you need it and so does your baby
