20-4-2009 - 38 Weeks-doc apt- good news!

My mood while writing this blog: excited/nervous

soooooooo, let me start off at saying my mom is in and my hormones are a little wacked, but I just told her dont pay me any attention lol. Anyhoo my doc apt....

I went in and he examined me and I am 3cm dilated, 50% thinned and his head is waaaaay down!!!! Thats awesome news! So when he was done I said ok so can we induce and he said yep imma send you over accross the hall and get it all set up! I was soooo excited, first I was iffy with going into the doc because I didnt care for this one doc that I was seeing, but today he was like my true love lol. Soooo I go monday on the 27th at 5am to get the show on the road, of course I could go at any time from now till then, but I aat least know for sure I am having my baby boy on monday lol.

So I get home and im telling my mom and my MIL and if you follow up on my blogs you will know that my MIL told us a while ago she wasnt going to take any time off of her bullshit job for the birth of this baby so automatically im like well I dont even want her there at all. I get home and im telling her my news all excited and everything and she doesnt say anything. My mom is excited and everything but kinda bummed out at the same time. I wait for my MIL to leave and when she did I didnt get a congrats or 'ill see you monday' or anything. so when she left my mom was like 'she told me she wouldnt take the time off'. so im like whatever so now my mom who flew from ny to sc and his mom(which i could care less about right now) are not even gonna be up there when i give birth because i need someone to watch my 2 kids. when my SIL had her baby in Jan my FIL and MIL took 5 days off each from work to watch her kid and neither of them are taking any time off for this one. I am heartbroken over this I called my sister and cried because I want my mom there, I want my kids there afterwards without my husband having to leave to get them. my mom dont have a license or a car here to be driving nor does she know where to go. My son so far doesnt care to much for my mom and my daughter loves her. I live far from her so they dont know her to well and i am very nervous about leaving my kids with her for 2 days. My son is a handful and I dont think she can handle him to be honest. I have no one else but my in laws to watch my kids. all my family is in NY. anyway i have to end this because it is just way to much to type but I wanted to let everyone know on Monday I will have my baby boy!!!!
