06-11-2009 - Ryans 6 mth check up! (halloween pics included!)

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

So today was big boys 6 mth check up!

He is 16lbs 8oz 26 1/2 inches long!!! Growing so fast!

He is 45% for his head and weight and 50% for his height.

He got like 5 shots today and thats including his flu shot. poor baby, you would think with having 2 other children the whole getting shots wouldnt be so hard on you, well when I saw his face and heard his little cry I teared up too! I felt so bad for him. But he's such a trooper, while trying to smile he was still pouting lol. So he was doing both lol. Such a big boy.

He is doing ok on baby food, but great with regular table food. The doc said hes such a smart little one. He rolls either way, gets on hands and knees and rocks or goes backwards, officially sitting all by himself and I dont even have to sit by him thinking he will fall lol. He now goes forward in the walker instead of backwards (which he still does lol). He feeds himself food and holds his bottle. I guess most 6mth olds dont do all this! My other 2 didnt this early. He has 2 teeth and the tops will be coming in very soon!

On another note, a week or so ago he had gotten the flu :( I hated it poor baby ran a fever for 3 days and did nothing but sleep, puke, cry and kinda ate. I had to give pedia lite. He is soooo much better now though thank god, he wasnt the same baby.

Halloween was great, but that was around the same time he was sick so I took him out for only half the time and then he stayed in with grandpa and cried the whole time I guess. (figures he never sees him anyway).

But we had tons of fun and I am including those pics!

Everyones babies are growing so fast and I have known most of you for a while and just cannot believe how cute and grown those babies look! Keep up the good work ladies!!!!
