| 03-5-2008 - 39 week update |  My mood while writing this blog:impatient |
I could not access this site for the better part of the week and I was going crazy! Dirk is a lifesaver, he helped me adjust my router settings to fix it...anyway, my latest:
I'm still 80% at station 0 but now 3 CM! I had a little bit of show yesterday...which was exciting but alas, I realize none of this means I'm about to have the baby. I am definitely having contrax on and off...but nothing indicating the regularity needed for real, active labor.
I'm annoyed that I missed all the 38 week posts...and I see that a lot of the ladies on my week had their babies! I'm jealous. My daughter was born the same gestation as last Thursday (38w 5 d) and now I'm two days past that. arrrrrggggghh!!!!!!!!
I have made up my mind, however, that I will wait and NOT be induced. Re-reading all of my favorite Bradley books and reflecting on Emily's birth did away with thoughts of induction.
I'm going to keep DTD and taking the Evening Primrose Oil though...

So cool to hear from you, I missed you, my God you are so close, I bet you can just taste it! hehe
Good on you for not wanting to be induced, I don't want to either, want to go natural, I feel constantly that I am about to labour at anytime, she feels like she is falling out, hehe, I dont remember feeling like this with my others, because I am 3cm's (and congrats for the show and your 3cms!), I feel open down there, it is hard to describe, the cervix feels stretched and sore, and I am very aware that it is open, and sometimes I get contractions that don't seem to stop, especially after getting up from sitting down, they are so strong and painful, but then I only get one and then it stops weird!
Please let me know when you go into labour, I will be writing a message up on my blog telling everyone, the world, lol!
