22-11-2008 - Hmmmmm

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Well ladies, I took two pregnancy tests last night - one very faint positive and one negative. Got up this morning and had another very faint positive. It worries me that the lines are so faint.

But I'm nauseous and stuff - I'm pretty damn sure I'm pregnant. I'm shocked and very anxious and I have a lot of conflicted feelings about it, if I'm being totally honest. I never wanted to have my kids close together because my parents did and it sucked for me - they didn't do a good job with a lot of things. But, I know Mark and I can do things differently/better.

There are a lot of other emotions I'm having right now but I'm not sure I'm ready to discuss them or deal with them. For now, I'm gonna focus on not crying and not throwing up and just feeling like the lucky person I know I am :-)

Congrats - I have had such a bad head cold the past week, I can't tell if I have symptoms or not. But if I am BFP we will share our due dates...I test on Saturday. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

My first 3 tests were very faint positives ( I kept taking them because I didn't believe it would ahppen so fast) and my daughter turned out just fine. I hope you get to feeling better! Saltine crakcers and apple juice is what helped to settle my stomach in the early days.

CONGRATULATIONS LISA!!!! I am SO happy for you! Don't worry everything is going to be just fine- you are a fantastic mom & Ben will be an amazing big brother!!!!! This is SO exciting!!!!! Try to embrace the whole fly by the seat of your pants thing, I guess when it comes to kids all the planning goes out the window!

I have been getting a faint BFP too... I'm not preggo! I know people say you can't get a false +... They lie...lol... You can w/ a cyst I know! I would take a digi test... I rather have my kids close... I have a big gap between 2 sets... They work better closer... Just because your parents messed up doesn't mean you will... Every case I have ever seen is that the kids get along better closer. There is 9 year between dh had his big sis and 9 more years to his little brother. There is 16 months between my little brother and me... I promise it works and you love your baby. I know you will be great! There are alot of people here that wish they could be in that spot! You might want to count your blessings...

CONGRATS lisa. The dr will always say u can never get a false positive reading but u can get a false negative so i reckon ur deffo PG. U arw already a fantasic mom and im sure u will still continue that when u have 2. Well done chick mwah xxxx

Congrats Lisa!!!!! I think u will do great with the kids close together :) Mine are all REALLY close together, and definately love having all there sisters and brothers :)

Lisa..sounds like u are preggo to me....Congrats!! Lisa I am going through similiar feelings having 2 babies so close together. Very anxious and worried that I will be too stressed to be a good parent. Being a good mom is #1 for me and I am sure for u as well. Just know you are giving Ben a friend for life and he will be a great big brother. We both know this is a wonderful gift (miracle) and once u get used to the idea u will slowly come around. Heck I am still getting used to it...lol....You are a great Mom and you will be a wonderful mother to the next lil one too....
