Slice up a couple portobella mushroom caps
Add a splash of balsamic vinegar, a clove or two of minced garlic, and about 1 tsp. olive oil
Sautee over medium heat until much of liquid has been absorbed and shrooms are a deep, dark color
- Add some chickpeas or lentils to the mixture at the end and serve over cous cous
- Add to pasta that has been drizzled with butter or olive oil and grated parmesan
- Use as a side dish
- Add to the quick pierogi bake
- The possibilities are endless!
