08-1-2009 - Update --In Week 41

My mood while writing this blog:

So yesterday I had an appointment at Noon. Got there, got in...had the Stress Test done on Gage. It was normal. I am having regular contractions but not anything to dance about. Gages little heart is beating like a champ.

Then off to an Ultra Sound. Gages fluids around him are looking wonderful, so no need to worry about him in there. I got a good laugh while I was in there....his BOY parts kept getting in the way of what the doc was trying to do. hehehhehe Troy loved that, when I told him. Next was MY check-up. The doctor gave me a sweep and gave Gage an eviction notice! OUCHY Ouch OUCH! But hey lets hope it works! Now the doctor said I would spot later on....of which they always tell you that after an exam. So I was prepared. I stopped to grab some lunch at Sonic then started my hour trip back home. Got home at 2:00 and had to go potty right away. Well, I kinda freaked a little when I saw blood clots and bright red blood and lots of it! That is NOT SPOTTING! So I called back, and just asked what I should do or if I should worry. The nurse told me to grab my packed bags, grab my husband and come back. SO I DID! They let me right in when I got there. Dr. B checked me again and yes I was bleeding STILL. Troy and I thought wow....that is a lot, but the Doc seemed okay with it and told us to go back home. DAMN IT. Sorry Troy for taking you out of work. I spent four hours in the car....which I hate. And all that GAS for nothing. UGH makes me sick. Troy said that there were even more blood clots during the exam. Now does that seem like SPOTTING TO YOU?????? Doctors....USE YOUR WORDS!!!! If I would have been told to expect that, I would have been okay. But to me when you soak a pad and have clots WHAT ELSE AM I SUPPOSE TO THINK????? So we came back home. I layed down for awhile and watched my sand picture. Troy went and played some X-Box. I felt much better after a couple hours. No real Contractions yet...No sign of him coming. I have my next appointment on Wednesday the 14th. I will be in my 42 Week of pregnancy! Wow...that is crazy. They will induce me on Thursday or Friday then. So Gage WILL be here by the 17th for sure! Please Pray...... Pray that Gage comes on his own. I really don't want to be induced or we could already have had Gage here. I want this naturally. I know if it comes down to it.....of course I will.....but please PRAY that he choses his own Birthday! THANK YOU. I love you all.....

Week 41: Got a Sweep again, bleed like crazy and with Blood clots. (Two trips to North Platte) Ugh. Lets hope it works! Gained 33 pounds so far. Doc thinks baby is around 7 and a half pounds. I am at 3cm. Still -2 and the fluid is great around baby. So it looks like I am off to week 42 if he doesn't come on his own. There should be a full moon on Sunday. *Will that be the day?* NO painful contractions yet. They are getting harder and more uncomfortable but not what I want!

Good Luck friend!! Please let me know how everything goes and when he decides to come out.. I know it has been a long hard road for you, but the outcome is sooo precious i cant even explain it... praying for you and Gage always :)

My suggestion is to walk, walk, walk. I was going to be induced but I did so much walking that I went into labor on my own. Good luck to you!
