maddi has had a pretty good weight and growth i was breastfeeding her and then she would eat her vegi and real food i realized i need to take her off of the breast as i realized that all she wanted to eat and she wasnt gaining much and losing weight .. she is now is almost 21 months and weights about 21 pounds she eats well and wears clothes for her age plesae pray that she will gain weight as she is suppose because she is on the low side for her weight . what should i feed her to help her gain more weight ??? my son i feel isnt as tall as he should be he wears size 6 . 7 size in pants he is about to be nine in august he is very pettie . i am praying that he doesnt have any growth disorder . he has always been pettie like that i am tall and so are the rest of my kids . i am trying not to worry so much as i know each kid grows to there own pace . what worries me also is that they told me that my son has a heart mumer and then told me it could close so i was like ok there is hope that this can go away . so i toke him a while back and they said its closed they dont hear it anymore then i bring him in again and they say that they hear it still there .. is that even possiable ??? i am also going to ask to get a ultrasound on my sons heart .... i was told that to call monday morning to see about bringing them in to see the doctor please pray that they will see them i will get the answers i need . i am worried and pray that nothing is wrong .

WELL LET ME TELL U WHAT U NEED TO DO... U NEED TO FEED THOSE KIDS SOUL FOOD... FRIED CHICKEN COLLARD GREENS AND MASHED POTATOES YAMS, CHIDLINS, ANY TYPE OF FRIED FOOD.. NO OFFENSE GO TO SOME BLACK PPL HOUSE...LOL...

Awww... honey I pray that he is okay,. I am sure he will be just fine. Yeah, it sounds like your little ones are on the skinny side... but that doesn't necessarily mean that they are unhealthy. As long as they are eating well and getting the proper nutrition I wouldn't be too alarmed. Have you thought or tried ensure for the kids? This way you know they are getting the proper amount of vitamins and nutrients. I would talk to the Dr though before I would make any dietary changes. Good luck sweetie. I hope this helps alittle. I will pray for your little ones that everything turns out for the best.

i wouldn't worry too much, but i know it is hard not to think about all the problems that could occur. my neice is 2 yrs old and only weighes 24lbs. her doc says she is perfectly fine, she is tall and skinny, just like her older sister who is only 10yrs old and weighes 55lbs, 60lbs after she takes a bath. lol but all children are diffrent.
i have a heart murmur, it is soo tiny and you have to listen really close. most people actually have them, but unless you know what you are listening for, they often get missed.
but all is all, i hope that your kids are healthy! they are in my prayers.

oh also about the heart murmmer..I get a heart murmer when I'm pregnant..and then it goes again..a heart murmmer for me..was basically just the blood being pumped faster and harder through the heart so you get a louder.."whoosh"..they don't normally mention it..because lots of pregnant women get it..and it's normally nothing to worrie about..so you've probably had plenty of heart murmmers on and off..and not even known about it..your Son will probably be the same...If the doctors say it will close..it'll close..i'd get a scan to be on the safe side..but I'm sure they'll all be fine..take care..Xx

Hey hun..My Son will be 2 in August..and was always on the small size and also on the bottom percentile for his weight..but those charts they give you are for bottle fed babys..and they gain weight fast and alot of it..(I breastfed Jakes till he was 18 months)..I think if there happy and not showing sighns of illness or fatigue then that's just the way they were made..just a bit smaller and lighter then some peoples...everyone is different..so I don't worrie about Jacobs weight or height..as long as he's not ill..and he's the happiest toddler I know..☺..take care hun..Xx
