Today i went for my regular 20 week ultrasound i got there at 3:45 and didn't get called until about 4:30 well everything was going good and all she was very active her heart rate was 143 beats per min she is 13 oz almost one pound . so i started to get ready to leave she tell's me they want to make sure my cervix is closed so i was like o.k cause she said that with the ultrasound it looked closed so she did a exam with the ultrasound but didn't insert anything inside me and said that she would be back . so she came in with another doctor and says that i have placenta previa . i am hoping that my placenta pervia will move up. i am worried i might over do to much and end up bleeding so how do i take it easy with 6 kids . i am so worried i would ask someone to come and stay with me until i have the baby but i have no one . i don't want a c section but i am willing to do whatever it take to have a safe and healthy baby . please pray for my sweet baby girl . my doctor told to to be on bed rest . i see him on the 23rd . i know god can make miracles cause i have seen it in my life i have faith that everything will be o.k

Unfortunately I dont have much advice for you because I have never had this happen. Although I have heard very good things from people about theirs moving up out of the way. I have you and your little girl in my thoughts and prayers. As far as bedrest with 6 kids....take it as easy as possible girl!!

Dont worry 2 much hun my sister had it and when she went into labour 10 weeks early it had started to move with the baby growing wen she went into labout it moved right out the way when the baby grows the bigger it gets it pushes the plasenta out the way hope yours moves hun xxx

try not to worry too much about it. it sounds worse than it is. i had it and often the placenta moves up out of the way. they usually give you a later scan (around 36-38 weeks) by which time in most cases it has moved out of the way. they say its common in women who have been pregnant several times because the placenta never attaches to the same place twice, so hence some later pregnancies it can end up covering some of the cervix. i know what you mean about worrying about getting rest, you should let all your family & friends know so that they can help you as much as possible over the rest of your pregnancy. they said to me, 'imagine a dot on a baloon, as the baloon grows the dot moves out of the way' hence the placenta would move the bigger your belly gets! best of luck hun!

did your doc say how much of the placenta is covering the cervix?? i know its scary and it sucks, but I know you will do whatever you need to do to have a healthy and successful pregnancy. I pray that it moves.

hmm sorry to hear about that,my friend had the same thing and it moved so i think you hae a good chance your body will correct the situation,for try n take it easy i know its hard with the lil ones..but you can slow down a lil bit ..put things near your bed that you need for your self and kids...and when you r able to be down,reallly be down maybe make food at once for breakfast lunch etc..snax that r easy for them to get too,you know~!for me it sumtimes makes thingsa bit less hectic within the house if i seperate kids in different areas..or pair an older with a ounger.kind of like a buddie system.. it will all work out.muchlove to you and yours~!

Oh my goodness, this is scary! I hope the Dr's monitor you very close and as for yourself, do only the things around your house that have to be done and leave the rest alone. I hope your hubby can help out a little extra. prayers to you. Take care of that lil one.
