as most of you know i may need to get c-section . i have had 6 normal deliveries and this is my 7th baby so i am all new to this . i go to my doctor on tuesday and i will find out when i will have another ultrasound to see if my placenta has moved up . i am really hoping that it does move up because i am afraid of having a c-section and i would much rather have her normal . but what matters to me most is for me to have her come into this world safe and healthy . i will be having ultrasound until it gets close to my induction date which is going to be about a week before my due date . i was wondering if any of you ladies can please tell me your experience with having a c-section what to expect . anything would be helpful . thank you . tomorrow i will be 30 weeks i cant believe that in 9 weeks i will meet my baby girl . i cant wait i am so excited .

everything should be fine. i have had a c section with my daughter whom is 2 years old and doing it again in 2 weeks. when i had her it was an emergency so i had to be put to sleep. it will be much better to be awake and not all drugged up to see the real thing. so as long as it is not an emergency everything should go great. but everyone is different healing wise. like i needed help total help the first few days but u have to be carefully with the incision and follow all the instructions they tell you. pray to god be patient and good luck!

Hey, I think C-section is the way to go! I would have loved to deliver naturally and my husband be able to experience that but that didn't happen. I got to the hospital at 8 and at 9:26am my baby girl was here! Wow! it was soooo easy and no pain! I got to stay out of work an additional 2 week's because it was a C-Section so I think it was great. The only thing is I had a spinal block and I am having alot of back problem's but the epidural I had with my first two caused back pain to. Everything is going to be just fine, it's not going to matter how how your little angel got here when you hold her in your arm's for the first time in just a few more week's.

Hey hun, had had an emergency c-section and it was hard 4 me because I really wanted a natural birth because I was so drugged up I don't really remember much of it, but I still had her and she was perfect. If urs isn't an emergency then maybe u can be awake :) all the best hunni, your little girl will be perfect :) x x

hun I had the same thing like you have now with your placenta being low and over your cervix, and they too had told me that if it didn't move up then I would be needing to have a c-section, and just when I thought that I was gonna have to have a c-section the placenta moved up around week 36 or 37 so theres still hope good luck hun I have had 14 pregnancies and only 3 of them were miscarriages and none of them have been a c-section so I can't tell you much about it sorry .......good luck and keep your head high my dr. had me doing excerises of kneeling on the floor and bowing my back down towards the floor and also had me kneeling on the floor and taking my hands and placing them further out in front of me and bowing down and just stay like that for as long as i could handle it, and then another thing I would do that he told me that would help was to take lots of pillows and lay them under my butt so that my butt was high up in the air and stay like that again for as long as I can hadle but do it everyday, and that I feel did help my plcenta move up....you should try that see what it does for you

Well i had two c- sections and never had a child naturally. its not that bad. Be prepared that the first couple days its painfull but they give u plenty of painkillers. U have to take care of the scar specially first couple weeks till it heels. But i had no problem to pick up stuff or my daughter who was three when i had my son.When u busy as you must be with six kids u have really not that much time to think of it.Best would be if u can have some help the first week beacause u will have a little problem with moving or getting up from bed or seat.Good luck to you.

hi please dont be afraid i had a c section i dont think it was bad at all i was terrified and its all over with so quick i was out of hospital 2 days later with hardly any pain just a bit uncomfortable i mean after having major abdominal surgery its suprising how well i felt . hope this helps only thing is i have a numb tummy now but i guess in time it will ware off good luck xx

Awww don't be scared hun!! People have c-sections everyday!! You'll do fine. But just incase, I will continue to pray for you and hope that you can have another natural delivery!! Keep us posted! :))

my SIL had a c-section and everything went fine. She had a little bit longer recovery time and had trouble passing gas after her surgery and she needed to do that before she could go home. I have a feeling EVERYTHING will go fine they are getting to become just as common as natural births.

It's not that bad. Actually it's very quick then labor.LOL But you will be in pain and you cannot move alot. I bounced right back after coming home from c-section. To me it felt like I did a whole bunch of crunches.LOL But the first two days was no fun with getting out of bed. My hubby was a good supporter for me to hold on too. The epidural is quick, I was a bit nervous for that being my first, but it felt like a rocking boat. And make sure the epidural did get you numb because they were going to cut me still having alot of feeling. I spoke up and told him and the had to to dhte epidural again>LOL And they give pain medicine just in case.LOL But you will be fine. It' s really not that bad.

hi~!hope u r well~1everything will work out,i too have never had c section but my sister did and i think in any medical situation ,key is to stay alm..one thing she mentiond to me is that when she was numb it felt like she wasnt breathing since she couldnt feel her chest but of course you r breathing and there are nurses there so just dont get scared..she also had the vomiting afterward ,its common to get a lil sick from the meds..i think you have a good chance that the placenta will move~!and either way you and baby will be great~!!!takecare.love
