Hello Ladies I am a close friend that is actually updating this for Liz82. She had to be admitted to the hospital this afternoon due to bleeding caused by her placenta (placenta previa). I rushed her to the hospital and Upon arrival the Dr. examined her and discovered that she is prematurely dilated to about almost a cm and is 70% effaced!! This is not good as she is approximately 31 weeks and it's just to soon! She has already received a shot of steroids to aid in the maturation of the baby's lungs and will receive another tomorrow, before discharge. She has been ordered to be on absolutely strict bed rest from this point forward!! She was told to only get up to use the bathroom and eat. They are anticipating an early arrival of the baby possibly via c-section. She is very scared and worried for her little girl and for her return home as bed rest will be difficult to maintain with other small children at home. I ask that you ladies please keep her in your prayers and please continue to visit her here on this site as she will need a lot of encouragement sand support for the remainder of her pregnancy, Thank you and have a blessed evening!

glad your doing okay! is there any programs out there that could get a caregiver to help you the kids? maybe a babysiter and i do understand the cash part maybe work something out with them . i am just soooooooooo glad your alright! i was thinking of you a lot and i am hope your princess will wait !

My daughter was born at 32 weeks and very unexpected. but I did get the steroids shot 2 weeks prior because I had complications. The steroids work very well after 2 weeks, she was born 3 lbs and was healthy, just really small though. She was in the NICU for about 3 and half weeks until she was able to feed on her own. So early at age, they had to put a feeding tube in her nose and she developed juandice too. I pray that she your baby will be in for awhile, it's so hard to see your child in an incubator, and having to visi tthe hospital everyday when I wanted her home so eagerly.

I pray that Mommy and baby will be okay and that her little princess stay put for a while. Cant imagine myself how bedrest could work with having other little ones at home. Going to be very hard and going to need a lot of help and support from family and friends. Thinking of you Liz :)

oh she is without a doubt in my thoughts and prayers I know what it is like to be in the hospital getting shots of steriods and magnesium salfate to stop labor and all it's a scaring thing hell I have even been life flighted because they couldnt get labor stopeed and layed in the hospital for 2 weeks until i delivered still to early....tell her to hang in there I know it's hard but this is a short time although it will seem to feel like forever if she can do this for her little unborn baby girl then the sooner she will be able to bring her home with her and the rest of the family...it's hard but the more she can do the better it will be and I am sure her and the baby will be fine as i have been in this boat ride many many times my earliest baby was born at 26 weeks I was scared but tell her to relax and lay back, it will be ok in the mean time I am praying for her and her little one may god bless you honey.....we love you both

hello ladies i cant be on here to long cause i am bed rest but i wanted to say thank you all so much for your love and support i just got back from the hospital yesterday . i am not bleeding anymore i got two shots steroids for the baby lungs . i am hoping to make it at least 37 weeks so she can a good chance at breathing on her own . it isnt easy being on bed rest with little ones i am trying my best . its hard since i really dont have anyone to come and help out. i am only allowed to get up for 10 mins out of a hour . i have a ultrasound in two weeks i will keep u all posted. thank u once again for ur love and support .
