As most of you all know i have to go to the doctor appointment on 2 -17 -10 to discuss about what is going to be the plan for the birth . Have you ever heard of having part of your placenta blocking your cervix and then have it completely blocking it ? just wondering since i never knew that was possible .. cause i guess in my case that is what happen. i need your guys advice about this whole placenta previa and about the c section . here are my concerns . i know that the more father along i get my cervix will begin to open and efface more which i will have more risk of bleeding i also have a bleeding disorder which causes me to bleed more then other people . i was thinking about asking my doctor if he can set the c section for when i am 37 weeks . because then i will be term and she would be o. k to be born then . if i start to bleed i am afraid i wont make it in time to the hospital because it takes me 20 mins to get there . i don't want to bleed to death and i want my baby to be safe . when i went to my appointment i know that my doctor was leading more to 38 weeks but i am really worried because with my last baby i was open 3 cm when i was 36 weeks along . each day that i make it by with her in my belly i know i am blessed and she is o.k . there is so much i am worried about having the c section i am worried about bleeding alot , being on hard medicine when i have her i heard the give morphine and i don't want that . please i ask to please pray that when the time comes that everything will be ok . you ladies have a blessed day ...

i was givin morphein and dint use it atall they give u tylenol and advil and when u mix it its just as good as morphein dont worry to much ur going to stress urself. I promiss ull be okay i went threw it and i saw REALLLYYYYYY scared but it all worked out good and on top of that i had an infection 2 weeks after but it still dint kill me!!!! U just gotta remeber to always take ur pills tylenol and advil together the nurse will let u know. And theyll give u stool sofners cuz they wont let u leave before u have a bowel movement dont be shy to ask me questions if u have any :)

there is mor meds they can give u fpr the bleeding??? if that is the case n ur afriad that urd bleed too much n ur doc thinks so as well then they should have u stay at the hosptial.. right?

since he will be checking you every week by that point i tihnk it would be safe to go ahead and schedule it for 38 weeks and if he feels as time goes by that it would be best to do it earlier, then that adjustment can be made. you know what i mean

I agree either write down your feelings and hand them to yur dr. or copy this blog and hand it to him. you really need to be this open with him so he knows your fears and concerns

Write your concerns down and discuss these with your doc. Let them reassure you about the timing (37 vs 38 weeks) your concern about your previous pregnancy and dilatation... Also ask about the meds. You have very real concerns and questions and don't hesitate to make sure that you get the answers that you need. You will definately stay in my thoughts and prayers... xxx ooo,Tina
