| 20-5-2008 - It's official ... | My mood while writing this blog:GOING CRAZY!!! |
Well week 31 is here. 6 weeks to full term and 9 weeks til my due date. We're closing in on the home stretch. I've got everything ready for baby, car seat base is installed in my car, I just have to do some laundry yet and sanitize the bottles and seriously, everything is ready.
But for real. It's starting to get old. My back hurts. When I sit for too long, I get this aching in left ribs, all the way around from front to back. When I walk, I literally feel like I'm dragging my legs behind me. My belly feels heavy, as if the baby is unsupported and just hanging there. I have constant heart burn, still nauseated, and can never get comfortable. I know this is all par for the course, but honestly, I'm not having fun anymore. I'm ready to have my baby and be done with it.
I've been off work now for a week. I waited as long as I possibly could, probably a little too long given the injury that happened. That seems to be settling down now though, thank goodness. It was interesting though, on my last day I was picking some things up that she had dropped on the floor, went to stand up and fell forward, almost hitting my head on the edge of a table. I guess I timed it perfectly. Plus, my baby brain is just getting ridiculous. I'm completely out to lunch. Can't remember a damn thing. Ryan and I went camping with his parents this weekend (in their trailer) and thank goodness he was going home after work before coming up to the site (his parents had picked me up earlier in the day) because I had a huge list of things for him to bring within 3 minutes of pulling into the campground lol. I'm so lucky he's so wonderful. He doesn't laugh at me, just sympathizes and does anything he can to make me feel better or more comfortable. He's even starting to get sympathy pains! Can you imagine?! He's getting all crampy in his lower belly, got the same kind of pressure pain in his ribs ... it's hilarious, poor guy.
