My mood while writing this blog: Sore but happy

Where were you when you found out?: In my bathroom

Who bought the test?: Me
How did you react?: I stared at the test in disbelief for a few minutes, kept leaving the bathroom, pacing, going back to look ... finally told Ryan, who was shaking like a leaf in the living room chain smoking lol.
The dad?: Shocked but much calmer than I was.
The parentals?: My mom was PISSED. His parents were concerned, but happy to be grandparents. My dad was shocked but surprisingly okay with it.
Did you ever consider giving it up?: A couple times I wondered if I could handle it right now, but ultimately I knew that everything happens for a reason and there are people in much worse situations than I am who manage just fine.
After it sank in how did you feel?: Excited
What were your first symptoms?: At first I was extremely dizzy. Then I started getting really nauseated. And my boobs got huge over night.
What kind of cravings did or do you have?: Mostly I've been craving fruit and ice cream.
How much weight did you or have u gained?: 36 pounds. I had one bad month that threw me (gained 20 pounds in one month) but since then I've been really good at keeping it down.
What has been your favorite food during the pregnancy?: Ice cream without a doubt. Helps with the heart burn.
Any morning sickness?: Yes, really bad.
Any aches or pains?: Yes in my hips and my ribs on my left side.
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes I love it.
Have you had any ultra sounds?: Yes I've had 3.
Do you know the sex?: Not for certain.
If so what is it?: We think it's a girl, but the umbilical cord was between her legs. What we saw seemed pretty girly but you never know what that cord was blocking.
Is that what you were hoping for?: I'm happy either way.
Any Names?: Ava Michele or Seth Michael.
Anything about being pregnant you didnt expect?: I didn't expect my RA to go into remission. I think I've been very lucky.
How many people will come to the hospital to see you?: Probably not too many. I imagine the visits will start when we get home.
How many grandparents will the baby have?: 6
Great Grandparents?: 3 (4 if you count my grandpa's girlfriend....)
Aunts?: REAL aunts? 1 ... but unofficial aunties ... lots n lots
Uncles?: No real uncles, but lots of unofficial ones.
Are you going to have professional pictures taken of your belly?: I doubt it. Ryan and I thought about getting family portraits done while I'm pregnant, but somehow I don't see that happening.
Are you gonna have a natural or medicated birth?: I'm hoping for natural, but we'll see when the time comes.
Who is your birthing coach?: Ryan.
Have you had any 4-D imaging done?: No, I'm not into driving 4 hours to the nearest clinic lol.
Have you registered for any baby stuff?: No, all my friends are too far away to have a shower so I didn't think there was any point in registering.

What is the theme of the baby's room?: Winnie The Pooh

Are you gonna tape the birth?: Hell to the no.
Who all will be in the room during delivery?: Just Ryan and the doctor.
Any family gonna come from out of town?: Yes I've got a steady stream of visitors coming from Ontario over the first couple months!
How many of your friends will be "Aunts" to your baby?: lots lol
Have you bought the baby anything yet?: Oh my god yes lol
Have the grandparents?: Yes, my mom bought the crib, mattress and a whack of clothes and stuffed animals, Ryan's parents have bought the bassinet, the travel system, and some toys and stuff.
Who else?: Lots from friends and my grandparents.
Have you found the baby's "going home" outfit?: I've got a few little onesies to choose from in the bag, but really I'm not too concerned. The baby will literally have a 2 minute drive home - I live VERY close to the hospital lol

During what season?: Summer! YUCK!
How much longer do you have?: 61 more days!
Are you ready to be a mommy?: Ready or not, this baby is cookin lol ... I think so though.
