24-8-2009 - Fundal Height

My mood while writing this blog: ok

At 28wk appointment this morning, fundal height measuring 32cm. They usually allow 1-3cm difference but 4cm is just a little too much. Been getting loads of comments recently about my size but was ignoring them all 'cause lets be honest, everyones different. Got to go for another scan next week to check growth in more detail. I'll be shocked if they have my dates wrong 'cause 20wk scan showed everything was 'normal'. Tom is 6ft 4" (btw his dad was 6ft 7") and I'm 5ft 9" so hoping that the baby's bigger in length than bulk!lol! My main concern is that if baby is a whopper ie over 10 lbs I will have to travel by ferry (which only operates up to 10.30pm!!) to another hospital which doesn't have the greatest of reputations!

One good thing though is that we have another chance to find out the sex - if baby's co-operating! ;-)
