21-1-2009 - My Plan...I Think

My mood while writing this blog: Anxious

OK, I'm hoping everything will fall into place tomorrow. It will be my due date and I have a dr appt. in the morning. My dr said he'll induce electively after 39.5 weeks. As of this past Sat. I was 3cm and 50% effaced so my body has a clue what it's doing (thank goodness after two others)! I'm going to ask to be induced on Friday. My folks can watch the other two on the weekend and the kids won't have school on the weekend so it's much easier and relieves me of alot of stress.

My 3yr old threw up tonight and that really got my anxiety levels going. He seems fine since his one episode but I don't deal with it well. My six yr old has gigantic tonsils right now but is fine other wise.

My stomach is a mess and nauseous but I'm not sure if it's just all the uncertainties right now. I'm not a crier but the puke but me over the edge tonight. I just want to settle into our new life and start figuring everything out.

I know I'm very much a type A personality and want everything covered and just so but I need to start going with the flow. My belly is in knots and I'm not sure why.....maybe just all the emotions. I'm going to:

-miss the kids while I'm at the hospital - will labor go smoothly - Will Chloe be healthy - pray my folks just don't stick my kids in front of the tube all day - is having 3 children biting off more than we can chew - it is the last so that's a whole other bunch of emotions.

I'm rambling but I guess just trying to sort things out in my head, I’m sure that things will all work out....they usually do and my worrying won't help matters. You guys have been tremendous. I think I've been on since 8wks or so and it's amazing all our journeys are ending and new ones are beginning . I'm looking forward to posting my story soon.

you're allowed to be emotional and the worst thing for us A types is the uncertaint. But I think I just read today you were getting induced??? OMG I'm so far behind. =)

You sound like you've got it all figured out. As for the worrying...that's on natural. You've done this twice before and you're gonna be a pro. As for having three, you have the knowledge and experience you need to be a great mom. My sister is pregnant with her third as we speak and is feeling the same way. You're going to do great. Keep us all posted.
