My mood while writing this blog: Ecstatic. |
Hello ladies,
Thought I would write a blog for the first time since I didn't with my daughter and I now wish I had them to save. We had been trying on and off for another baby since my daughter was two months old but really started trying August and September since that was our ideal time to conceive. I had only had 2 periods since my daughter was born. One could hardly even be counted as a period. I was testing every day, most times twice a day, and on October first I got the faintest BFP in the world. I mean I had to take the cover off, turn it a cerrtain way in the light, but it was there!!!!! Finally, I started crying I was just FAR too happy. I called Matt and told him and he was just ecstatic. I got in the bath tub and took it with me, kept checking it every 2 seconds to make sure it was still there, and it was. I went to school and took another one there, and kept checking it all day. I started taking them daily after that and slowly but surely they started getting darker. I took a Clear Blue Digital with the dating thing on it, and it told me I was between 3-4 weeks. I had my bloodwork done the following Friday and didn't cry, (I am the biggest wuss when it comes to needles) Instead I sat there with Addy on my lap and a smile on my face while they stole 7 vials. I went to the mall after that, bought a precious moments figurine of a little girl holding a newborn baby and sent it to mom with our due date, and then patiently waited over Turkey weekend until she got it. I was in class when she got it, and so I called her back to find her SOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!! She had already told ALL of facebook so I let her go and put it in my status too so I could at least be the first to tell some people!!!! lol Anyways, I had a midwife appointment that Thursday, she was AMAZING. It is VERY hard to get into a midwife here as they just became legal in March and there are only 4. 2 full time, 2 part time and together they only take 8 patients per due date month. Anyways her name is Kelly. She is amazing. She is allowing me to have a home birth, and a water birth!! Even after my daughters eventful birth!! She has some tips on trying to keep my baby under 10lbs this time. I'm not allowed any milk and that's going to be HARD for me. lol But you have to do, what you have to do!!! And I am willing to do anything for this baby who is due on their daddies birthday! June 14th. :) Can't wait!!!!!!!!! :)

Friday, 23 Oct Oh I hope I dont have a 9lb baby again...though big babies run in our family and Bonnie's birth was pretty smooth except that she needed to be vaccumed out, but thats about it...eeep! Good luck with no milk, I'd probably die without it....maybe not straight milk but cheese and yoghurt! mahihkan -
