| 08-7-2009 - hello 3rd trimester! | My mood while writing this blog:so good! |
Oh my goodness, this has just flown by! Can't believe I am already in the 3rd trimester! Well, I am feeling good still for the most part. I have just started to notice it's getting harder to do normal things like bending down, lifting heavier things (which i have stopped doing since i know it's bad for me!), standing all day at work, and etc. My stomach is def. now more than just a "bump"! I'm very happy I look preggo and not just chunky now though! Some crazy stranger asked if she could rub my stomach for luck on her scratch-offs the other day! It surprised me so much, I just laughed and said "Um, sure." And lucky me, still no stretch marks. Thank goodness for vitamin E lotion! I have my sugar test Tues, call me a freak, but I am excited to do it! Kinda scared, cuz I know I consume waaaay too much sugar, but I am going to start eating better from today til then. Maybe it will stick 'til the end, lol!
So now tell me, do these crazy-ass hormones go away quickly after birth?? They are really kicking in in these last few weeks. I get teary-eyed at everything, I can't get in "the mood", I get pissy a lot more quickly, and I complain way too much now. My car is messed up, and is going to cost me a ton of $ to fix, and I was going off on the dealer today, and I got teary and it made me soo mad cuz I wasn't sad, just pissed, but I couldn't stop the tears, lol. Luckily I was on the phone, so he didn't see. Ahh, it makes me so mad when people think they can f*** me over just cuz I'm a girl. Luckily my "Fiance" (as he's been telling everyone he has been dealing with about this car crap) is going to help me take care of all of it before I go nuts and burn the place down and blame it on being preg-o! Anyway, I'll be glad when I feel normal-tempered and not mentally fragile anymore!
Oh, and I'm boycotting the weekly boards! (JK!) I'm just so jealous of all the ladies who are leaving work and having these LOOOONG maternity leaves and they get to start around now, and I am stuck at work 'til the end! I LOVE my job, but the no-paid-maternity leave sucks! And the fact that I'll only be able to take 6-8 weeks off since it IS unpaid leave, and I don't wanna miss out on getting my clients in before the holidays b/c that's my busiest time of the year. I'm just really hoping it works out to where I can cut back my days from 5 days to 4 days and spend more time with my little guy. And I'm also hoping Jake and I can arrange our work schedules to where we do opposite hours and don't have to put our baby in daycare or a sitter's. (Fingers crossed!!!) It will suck not spending as much time together, but I think our relationship can handle til we can figure something better out. SAHM's, don't ever take it for granted!!!
Ok, almost done, but guess what!!! I think we have a name! The leading contender for this week is:
Rylan Zak Westcott
The middle name is my last name, which I have always planned on passing down to my son, the last name is babydaddy's last name, which of course is final, and the first name is not for sure of course, but one we have finally agreed on for now! The baby-naming has turned out to be the hardest part so far! And as fickle as I am, we will probably come up with something different in the delivery room after he's born, but for now it's Rylan!
Alright ladies, hope everyone is feeling good and having a great summer! Later!
