14-8-2009 - getting closer!

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

Wow, it’s been awhile since I have written a blog… my computer has been so messed up, so I haven’t been on as often as I would like, but congrats to you girls who have had your babies!! And to all of you around my week, go us, we’re almost there, yay!

I hit 32 weeks on Tuesday, 8 months down! I am starting to get uncomfortable and soooo tired all the time! I get stuck on the couch cuz my back is constantly killing me. I don’t sleep well hardly at all between my back, restless legs syndrome, and the breakdancing baby in me who only wants to do it at night. I’m hating work, since I stand all day, and the tendons in my feet feel like they are going to tear in two. My bf’s new nickname for me is chubbs. I also found my first stretchmark, and it’s on my butt!! But enough complaining... I love my little man so so so much, so it’s all worth it!!

I just cannot wait to meet my little Rylen! My bf and I toured the hospital last week, and we like it. We are taking an 8:30am-5pm and $100 birthing class in September, seems so long and expensive, but I think it will be a little helpful in the end. I kinda want to say screw it and get a 4d ultrasound with the money, (especially since I don’t get another one) but we will see. Had my 32 week doctor’s appt., and everything looks good. His heartbeat was at 140, and he’s still on track with growth. I am having tons of braxton-hicks contractions, and my dr. said to watch them and count them, but it’s hard when I am still working and can’t lay down for an hour to count them all. So I will just watch and hopefully everything stays good.

I got to cut down one of my 8 hour days at work, and my last day is September 28^th, one week before my due date. I’m hoping he will make his appearance that night, then I can spend 8 whole weeks with him before I go back to work. I will be working my butt off through the holidays when I go back, then I will cut back to 4 days a week so I can spend more time with him. My wonderful bf has been working his ass off lately too, he’s doing 17 hours today. He is being such a sweetheart to me. He took me on a mini-golf date last night and always rubs my stomach when Ry is pushing too hard. And he’s going to paint the dresser and changing table this weekend, and I can finally start washing and putting away lil man’s clothes! I don’t think we are going to set up the crib yet, because we are probably moving in November, but I can start doing everything else. Hopefully that will kickstart my nesting!
