Penis!!!
hahaah!! We are having a little baby boy!!
We went to our appt and when the doctor walked in with the doppler my heart dropped! I thought she had forgotten that she had said at our last appt that we would check to see the sex! She kept her promise and after asking a few questions off my list we headed into the ultrasound room! She put the gel on my belly and i realized for the first time that it almost feel a little hot at first. Has anyone else felt that? Not a contact hot but definitely a hot feeling. Anyways! She was looking and looking and we saw the spine and the arms were moving and he did a little move around for us, but his little legs were very crossed!! She couldn't see and i wanted to cry if we were going to leave and not know!! I think she could sense our disappointment and said we could go wait for a little bit and walk around and see if the baby moves. SO what do i do... i go into another room and walk around and poke at my poor baby. I was like massaging what i thought were his legs so that they would open. And of course now I feel horrible about it, even though i wasn't rough, but for some reason i just feel bad about it. Oh goodness the emotions i have for everything. Our doctor came back and got us but she had another person with her! It was the coolest and nicest guy ever. He was a resident at our hospital and is a pro with finding the gender. How nice was that of our doctor to go track this guy down?! He told us a funny story about how he had his lawyers wife on the table one time and said it was a girl! They named her Molly and when she was born she had a penis! haha! I got such great vibes from this guy! It took him about 30 seconds and he found it was a boy! It was such a cool experience! Adam and I both kind of already thought it was a boy but it was so awesome to see the little legs with the little penis there!!
It just keeps getting better and better!!
I will post the pictures as soon as I can!!
I hope everything is doing very well and if you don't already know the sex, I promise you it is worth the agonizing wait!!

Agh! That is so awesome! I go in for a sonogram (that early one) on the tenth, and I am crossing my fingers like crazy that they'll let me know the sex. My doctor's kinda weird about the sonogram thing- at first he wasn't going to even let me have a sonogram untill the 20 week mark :( I know what you mean about kind of knowing that what it was already. I am almost positive we're having a girl. I'd put money on it! haha. But for real, congrats. That's freaking awesome. Do you have any cute boy names picked out? Me and my Adam were considering Jack if it's a boy (but I have a feeling that we'll have to wait on the boy name! Haha).

Congrats on finding out the sex of your baby. I was told I'm having a boy as well but I'm still going to get the scan agin so I can see him/she. Don't feel bad about poking your belly. this morning I wanted the baby to move that I poked my belly waiting for a respond but off cos I got none and I felt bad. I think I feel it sometimes but because everyone says your not until later so when I get those moving feeling I disregard them.

OMG WHAT WONDERFUL NEWS....I HAVE BEEN CKG ON HERE TO SEE IF YOU WOULD POST THE RESULTS!!! DON'T FEEL BAD ABOUT POKING ON YOUR BELLY.
