Today's my husbands birthday, got a big birthday cake for him, but can't wait to have a piece myself. I went to doctors today, everything is finr, I weight 147.5 lbs, belly measures a little small, so I have to go to have an u/s on wednesday, can't wait to see our little darling. I am 29 weeks tomorrow.

Soooo, I did not get a chance to see the baby, cause the screen was not set up properly, but the tech saw that I was having contractions and my cervix was 2.9 cm instead of 4 cm, so the doctor sent me to the Centra state hospital and put me on monitors.I thought I will be going home later that day, but they kept me there till Saturday. I di not handle it that well, the hospital is nice, wonderful staff, but I like my home and my comfort.I got 2 sets of steroid shots for the babies lungs and I was on some medication to stop contraction,sometimes they were coming every 5 min!My cervix is 2 cm, so they call it preterm labor, because the contractions caused changes on the cervix.I am only 29 weeks! Now I am home on bed rest, that sucks, no work, no money and worried about delivering preterm. I had such a wonderful pregnancy until now, this is upsetting to me.

I went to doctors for a transvaginal u/s to check the cervix and all went well, no further changes since they released me on Saturday, so I do not need to be in a complete bedrest, I can walk around and just take it easy. I am happy, I was so freaking out about preterm labour last week in the hospital...

went for my regular checkup, was told I am measuring small, baby's heart beat is strong, everything is allright,I have no swelling, no heartburn,feeling good.Have to go for an u/s next week to check on the baby's growth. My weight is 151lbs.
