Write a new blog
We started Isabella on solids a few weeks back. She is 6 months now. She learned how to swallow and she is doing fine with it. We gave her fruits or vegies once a day around noon. For the last week she was getting also dinner. Now Isabella is for the last week constipated and uncomfortable. She goes # 2 once in 3 days and is complaining and trying to push all the time meanwhile. Should I stop giving her the food and give her only BM?. She is so uncomfortable.

my daughter was having the same problem i had to stop her on any rice foods and gave her prunes once a day and she was back to her old self in about 4 or 5 days

Give her prunes every other day as her fruit. We have no problems since doing this. They have to get their stomachs used to the food, or they will never be able to eat. We also give her 2-4 oz of apple juice a day, diluted with water. Doc says she is doing great, and it is all age appropriate.

maybe try giving her some cooled boiled water to drink too? xx

I would try it. Go back just to BM and u will see if it will help. I cannot really say since we have with my son the oposite problem even till now he goes at least twice a day lol.Sorry she is feeling bad i know she must be very uncomfortable.
