My mood while writing this blog: excited but nervous

Nine more sleeps till baby is here... (well unless i poppity pop before hand)

can you believe it - its just flown in!!!!!

ive had a busy weekend of packing my bags (thanks to my big sister for actually sorting that for me!!) and sorting my camera for the big arrivial - with my new camera i managed to salvage all the pics taken before the old one went pop so i will be able to upload them all (when i get a chance) and show you all just how much i have grown!! EEK! im officially huge now!

im still having braxton hicks- real tough hold your breath ones. the proper regular 4 min contractions i was having and told to get to the hospital for lasted for about three days in total but there were no other signs of labour so i just got on with what i had to do at home and they finally calomed down.. now im just getting the random but heavy 'hicks'

i had a fab birthday on friday - i usually cry on my birthday cause i feel i am just getting so old so quickly and lifes wooshing on by - but it was such a lovely day and i didnt expect to get all the lovely wishes and cuddles - and even a cake!!- that i did!! i went for lunch with my work had dinner with scotty boy and we went to see Sex drive at the cinema which was really funny....

saturday was fab as well with my sisters coming over with the girls ( my eldest sisters kids) and they made lunch. i was brought all the stuff to pack my bag with new nighties and big granny pants and pads and all the scary stuff you need but are afraid to ask!!! OH and my hommock was delivered so Gillian brought that over as well.. its gorgeous!! i love it!!!

ive altered my nursing bra to make it a 30back.. and you would never know it had been tampered with - ive sewn the arse back into my comfy velour joggies.. they are worn to death but I NEED THEM - im pretty much good to go to hospital (but not come back the house is still in a shocking state of disrepair which lead to a pretty hefty tantrum lastnight) i have still got so much i need to do at home and scotts about as domestic as a wooly mammoth

sunday me and scotty took harry to amazonia which is a butterfly greenhouse type place with all creatures from the rainforest - they got to hold snakes and spiders and geckos and all sorts of disgusting things, im too chicken for that !! i loves the wee monkies tho there were a few baby monkies so i spent my time just staring at them!!! Again got practicing with my new camera and got some nice pictures of the boys together.. none of me tho.. im too gross!!

i cant believe it tho.. 9 more sleeps and there will be a whole new person in my life.. im so excited but so terrified as well.. i go from estatic to feeling sooo flat to paranoid to crying.. and all the way back round again... and i know whats wrong..

my friend had her baby.. i am sooooo thrilled for her, a wee boy 8lbs was such a long day waiting to hear the news i was terrified for her.. it just seems that everyone on the planet can give birth but me and my indequate body. i knew i would get down about that and i know its better to be safe than sorry but i just wish i could..

give me an hour till i swing back round to being happy and excited again..
