17-5-2009 - 36 week update

My mood while writing this blog:
grrrr

hey all hope everyone is going really well.

So updates with me.. well tonight im getting some mild period cramping and i feel shit! I know its nothing cos bub is still sitting VERY high.. and she isnt moving down at all.. something im not happy about ... again during the night ive stopped breathing, last night was really bad, i would wake up on my back basically suffocating just to get a few breaths and fall back asleep ( god only knows why i didnt turn over onto my side ) and wake up again suffocating... it sucked.. so needless to say i was awake most of the night.. then bub was moving and pushing down on my pelvic bones which made it worse, yet she still hasnt dropped.

Im so sore .. my whole body aches with most movements.. and i have now put on like 12 kgs... :( i feel soo upset about it ey.. i know its a normal weight range bit i still get really worried spesh considering my history with food and crap .. grrr.

Amelia is doing well i think hehe, measuring 36 weeks, heartbeat of 150, her room is all set and ready to go. And the only thing i need to get now is bibs and beenies and 1 or 2 more singlets... Thank gosh the rest is done.. i mean im almost 37 weeks and i still havent washed her clothes.. i keep thinking she will be a week or so late so if she is i have like 4 more weeks left to go so why bother, but i know i will freak if she comes early, so i have to have it all done by week 38. Same with my hospital bag.. i have everything written down on what i want to bring but none of it packed. I think its too early to be packing it if she is going to go overdue. Now i have no real reason to think that as my mum had all of us early , i was a week early, my middle sister was 3 weeks early and the little sis was 2 weeks early, but my partner and his brother were 1 and 2 weeks late, so yeah and on top of that she hasnt dropped. :(

I still have the stretch marks coming along but im getting over caring about it, honestly nobody really cares if u have them or not i have found out.. i txt all the males i know and wanted to see there reply, and none of them cared... it made me feel pretty good. I also went shopping today and bought some "after baby" clothes... very nice stuff too.. im normally a size small but i had to get a medium cos my boobs will ob get soo much bigger.

And i finally got my birthday pressie from my partner... a Panasonic SDR-H280 camcorder.. perfect for doing video blogs and for our little one. So yeah thats my updates hehe...
Its late and im off for the night i think. A shower might be good. Hope everyone had a awesome weekend.Xx

It seems like you and the baby are doing well, but you don't know for sure that you'll be late. You better get on the ball with the bag and the clothes cause it's better to be safe than sorry. Take care!!
