11 days has gone by since i had my little girl and so far she is a angel. She rarely cries, she feeds like a champ and is doing great. She is big though, i weighed myself today then i weighed myself again holding her, according to the scales she is sitting at 4.6 kgs ... she was born at 3.89 kgs so she has put onn about 600 or so grams in 11 days, i trust my scale but i dont trust the way it worked... i mean thats a huge amount of weight to put on in 11 days!

We as a family are doing great, Derek is really taking to being a daddy and since he has til the 20th of next month off he is helping out majorly, He is the diaper changer and im the feeder.. it works well.. Ive had the baby blues a bit, since ive been home ive woken up in the mornings and thought what am i doing here? but only to wake the next morning with feelings of happiness and loving life, so the baby blues suck but i didnt have them today and i feel great, We have been getting out of the house every second day just either doing shopping or anything really, today we did show and tell at both of our workplaces, although im not going back to mine they love seeing me and my little one! Its been great getting out of the house , u go insane being kept in the house!

And my little girl is still sleeping, i think its going to be a hell of a night tonight as she has slept all through the day but its better to be prepared for the worst and then if it gets to be a good night take it!
She wouldnt sleep in her cot so we bought a bassinet and she sleeps like a champ until about 3 am when she cries and wants to come in our bed.. ( but thats not happening anymore.. derek wishes it would though as it would be easier on him i think hehe )

And the best thing is ive lost almost all of my pregnancy weight! I put on a total of 14 kgs by 35 weeks and from then on the weight slowly came down from 62.5 to 60, and then since i gave birth ive dropped down to 51.3 kgs.. Wooo.. im totally happy with that and my stretch marks are already fading away.. everything is working out really well and im so happy, cept my boobs are now a DD when full ( there is no pretty DD size bra's ) and a standard D when not, im happy with the d i can buy nice bra's but the DD ... grr not too happy with that one.

Anyways thats my little update about our family.. everything is well .. how is everyone else's lives going

dont worry my lil one put on alot of weight very quickly too, and she never lost any after birth like they said she would...i think all babies are different :o)

my husband wants silas to sleep with us too....i really don't just because its hard to break habit.....CONGRATS ON THE NEW BABY!!!
