05-7-2009 - 1 Month later....

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

so its a month later i had bubs just over 4 weeks ago and things have been going very well. Amelia is sleeping wonderfully and is now going about 5-7 hours straight throughout the night, depending how she feeds during the day. She is now also alot more alert and holding her head up pretty well now.
We had sex the other day and it hurt like all hell, dont think i will do that in a long time again, it pulled at the cut they made, ( which we thought was healed ) so that wasnt the best :(
Im constantly checking to see if she is breathing though, haha i dont think that is normal but its good i know that she is alive, She is also now in her basinett most nights as well.

We went up to qld the other week and she behaved beautifully, didnt cry on the plane cept when getting bum changed so it worked out really well. Thank god im home though.

Today ive felt a bit down, well really tonight i have been, i dunno what it is but i just feel really upset/tired and over being a mum. And i hate myself for even saying that, i have a wonderful well behaved child who doesnt cry, doesnt have colic or anything and pretty much does her own thing but tonight i just couldnt attach myself to being that parent role.. i dont know what it is, and im sure i will be right in the morning but tonight i just .. i dont know how to put it, its like i love her to bits but i just i dunno something just doesnt sit right.

So thats my update for the past few weeks. Hope everyone else is doing well with ttc/pregnancy and the already mums. xxx

I can't believe its been a month already. Time sure does fly. It seems like you and Ms. Amelia are doing ok. And its ok to get down every now and then. You are definitely allowed to have your moments and that surely doesn't make you a bad mom. I hope you feel better soon and I'm sure you will. Well take care of you and your precious lil angel.
