30-7-2009 - 8 weeks tomoro!

My mood while writing this blog:
raahhh!

Hey all!

Wow 8 weeks tomorrow, i cant believe its gone so quick! Well so much has gone on in these past few weeks since i last wrote. I started pole dancing lessons last night and wow, man am i sore today a full 1 hour work out that didnt stop at all! i have bruises on my inner thighs and my left arm! i cant walk in heels so now i have a 3inch pair on walking around the house trying to walk in them before monday or thursday, im trying to get a extra class in on monday but thats only if derek will be able to change his work roster to get a earlier shift as he is currently working from 11.30am-8.15pm :( so its mucking it all up lol. My weight is dropping nicely as well! yay. But i happen to also get my period back, im so annoyed i mean its not even been 8 weeks and im exclusivly breastfeeding so its not fair and im god damn annoyed with it.Have any of u girls gotten urs back soo soon?

Now onto my little munchkin.. She is doing well, still a wonderful baby and isnt too teary, she never got colic and she sleep well most nights, we tend to do 6 hours straight but im starting to try and stretch that out to 7 or so hours, which i did last night and it worked real well for us, fingers crossed i can do it again. She is prob just tipping over 5kgs she wasnt on her 6 week checkup, but now 53.5 cms or something like that. Still on the boob and is going really well.

Derek and i are going well as also, he helps out where he can but still doesnt understand that i do need some time to myself without him or bubs, jsut so i can do some basic stuff like have a bath or clean the house or go for a walk BY MYSELF, but i cant complain i do alot of things and bub does get babysat by my godmum if i cant take her with me. Which i take her everywhere with me.

So thats the latest with me im working out, looking afyer bubs and resting where possible lol. Hope everyone else is doing well.

I know what you mean about getting time to yourself! haha thats a very rare occurance. Its hard to explain to the other half that being a mum is 24/7... he gets his time after work and weekends but whens MY break?? Kyelah goes everywhere with me. when is it MY weekend to relax..

Thats awesome to hear that everything is going well with Amelia, And you havent had problems breastfeeding. we have done really well in that aspect too but ive also battled mastitis (twice!) because my milk flow is really good. and thats rather painful. As for getting that dreaded period... Im exclusivley breastfeeding and mine came back but only lightly and for 4 days when Kyelah was 8 weeks old. A few days after that though i had the implanon rod inserted into my arm (have you heard about them?) and i spotted lightly for 2 weeks, i was getting over it by then but all of a sudden its stopped and all this week ive been normal. Im hoping now i wont bleed or spot again until i get the rod taken out in about 12-18 months. now that would be awesome! xx
