07-12-2009 - 6 months and onwards

My mood while writing this blog:
woo hooooOO!

Hi all , hope u are all doing well with everything, i do keep updated on ur blogs that go around :)

Wow so on sunday Amelia turned 6 months and my gosh has everything been happening.. i know they arnt ment to be talking yet, but amelia has been saying mum over the past week but today was the first time i would say she said it properly and we have almost managed to say hi! i know they arnt ment to be talking but she is getting there... She isnt eating too much though these days maybe 3 full 240mls a day and thats really it and she isnt seeming too interested in solids either so we arnt really having much of that unless she sees me eating it then she wants it.... she wants everything i eat/drink its cute but can be a bit annoying at times! She is almost crawling as well, she gets her back legs up but cant do the front at the same time, but we are getting there so i expect in the next 3-4 weeks we will be crawling.
We were going to get her a walker for xmas but now have decided not to as we are almost at the crawling stage and i dont think she will get too much use out of it + it wont fit through our doors as its big anf bulky.. so we are going to spend the $200 elsewhere on other toys..
Our xmas tree is up but there is no decorations on it yet, we fell asleep on sunday and didnt manage to get out to the store. But will be going tomoro for sure :)

Things with me and the man are going well.. he helps her in the morning and im slowly starting to get some sleep.. Amelia is now sleeping throughout the night as well which helps.. well she is most nights sometimes she still wakes and wants to be fed but i dont think that its real hunger just comfort sucking so i give her a dummy instead.. most nights she takes it... and we are completely weaned now off boob which has made me feel sooo much better i have alot of energy and feel great...

Oh thats great! glad to hear everything is going so well. I havent been on the lappy in a while so doing the catch ups on blogs and messgaes n things. I have weened Kyelah off the boob 2 feeds a day she has bottle... still breastfeeding the rest and she usually sleeps through aswell... 630-430 (feed) then 5-730 and yes wont be long before they are crawling! Kyelah scoots around, she pushes herself backwards to get places and like your daughter gets up on her knees and gets into position but the minute she trues to move she falls back onto her tummy... im giving her probably 2 weeks before shes off crawling though!!! With the walker, i would agree with you, Kyelahs had one for about 3 months and has become really good at manouvering it but i dont think she will be too interested as soon as shes crawling/walking on her own.Yay for xmas!!! we have our tree up and decorated, minus the xmas lights... lol we were going to buy some new ones but never got around to it. probably leave it for next year now!
