Tuesday, 27 Oct well i dont smoke but i can imagine how hard it must be to quit. if the doctor says the pregnancy is ok, then dont stress too much ,but try to smoke less and less ever day or wk, because even though the pregnancy might be ok now, doesnt mean that the baby might not have problems later from the smoke intake your doing now..good luck bubblez23 -
Monday, 26 Oct It was realllly hard for me to stop smoking and didn't do so until I was about 12 or 13 weeks ( about a month after I found out I was pregnant)...when you're ready to quit you will quit, has the doctor said anything about the baby being underweight? I started off quittin by cutting down the number of ciggs I had...I used to smoke about 10-15 a day then I cut down to about 5..then one weekend I was broke and I couldnt buy any and that was the weekend that helped me stop, after that weekend i never touched another ciggg! lol Brittany Lane -

Monday, 26 Oct I smoked until 12 weeks and after the constant battle, I threw the patch on and made up my mind I would not smoke I haven't since. I smoked with my 1st and he was born 3 weeks early with ashma. I think it's really important to quit. Not to say your baby won't be perfectly healthy at birth but you have that risk that you need to be aware of. Get the patch. luvforfour -
