I had a midwife appointment today, and she felt my tummy and said im feeling quite big for 27 weeks, so she measured me and said im measuring too big for my stage. I should be about 32 weeks for the babys size. My midwife has booked me in for a growth scan next tuesday to find out. Could it be that ive got a big baby? or did i get my dates wrong and im futher along? What do you think girls

Did you have a dating scan or are you going purely by your lmp? If you had a dating scan then your dates cant be that wrong and you may possibly be having a big baby! OR you could just be carrying ALOT of fluid :0) Hope the scan goes well. keep us all posted x x

im not so sure. i dont feel like im getting any bigger sence last month so anything is possible i guess lol. your going to a scan so that will tell you for sure. but then again, dont forget, every pregnancy is different :)

it could be that the baby has had a growth spurt. i'm measuring big too for 29 weeks. going to be measured again in a few weeks and if still big ill have a scan too. dont worry, it could be the dates are wrong, you could have a big baby, you could have extra fluid than average it could be a growth spurt. Nothing serious though i shouldnt think, im not worried my midwife was very reassuring that its normal, x
