Monday, 21 Dec I'm 24 and have been smoking since i was younger. I smoked being pregnant which i got alot of crap for it... telling me my baby is going to have health issues, etc... i wont sit there and say, "SMOKE!!" because everyone is different, but my son is so healthy, it's wonderful!!!! But they say, if you smoke, then quit being pregnant, thats the worse because it puts SOO much stress on you and the baby... NinaBo-Bina -
Monday, 21 Dec What a tuff topic! I smoked for ever since 12 years old. I had 2 children prior to this and smoked with both. My son was born with asthma that went away by the time he was 2 and my daughter never had any health issues and continues to be a strong lil girl. This pregnancy I went on patch at 6 weeks and was successful for months. I started to snake puffs off of my man's cigars which I began to feel had to be worse for baby then having a cig or 2 a day. I have been battling this on again and off again affair with cigarettes for 7 months now. I can say I have been smoke free more then I have smoked and I continue to try. I think it's that sense of guilt that keeps me in line or if left to my own devices I would be smoking a pack a day like always. I like to justify that I only have 1-2 a day and then go 2 months without. Then my mind tells me that baby can't be o.k. when I stress as supposed to the occassional smoke. All in all, I continue to battle the urge on a daily basis! Hope this was helpful....
