09-1-2010 - 35 week update

My mood while writing this blog:
tired

I woke up this morning at 11.45am! i cant believe how much i had slept. Im still feeling really tired. I have a bad headache and now and again having small pains down below. Could this be the start of early labour signs. This is my first so would love to hear from you women who knows about it. I am so tired, all i want to do is sleep. I have no energy. How will i know the baby has turned? ive got so many questions lol.

There are some signs. For starters, consistent contractions and tightening down low. Dull achy back pain that persist. And then the obvious, losing mucus plug, water breaking or blood. Red blood is not good and you should definatley get to L & D immediately. I know the last few weeks tough! I even packed my baby's bag lastnight and I have 7 weeks until induction. I think I'm going a little mad! lol

Hi there. I'm 36 weeks and keep thinking every little thing is a sign of labour, but trust me, we'll know when its the real thing. I'm feeling exhausted now and it's quite normal for me to now need at least 10 hours of sleep a night and then more sometimes too. I find it really difficult to get to sleep because i cant find a comfy position and then when i do i wake up needing a wee or have a dead leg or something, so broken sleep isn't helping matters either. But this is why we have maternity leave. Just listen to yourself and rest when you need to. The headaches will be because of a changing sleep pattern. x x
