29-1-2010 - 38 week update

My mood while writing this blog:
tired

Im now 38 weeks and the pains i had in the past week has gone, so thinking it was all false contractions again. Im feeling very uncomfortable now and cant wait to meet my little boy. For the past few days he has been more active than he was before. Still having trouble sleeping at night, even though im so tired and i cant seem to fall asleep, i feel so restless, but i dont have any problems sleeping in the day for a couple of hours lol. Very strange! This is my first baby so i am very nervous about everything. How do i know when labor is very near? or do you just wait for your waters to break? Love some info. Hope you girls are all well.x

i know what you mean about being restless. i have been like that now for a week. you.ll know when its almost time ..when your in labour. your water doesnt have to break for you to be ready for labour. contractions and other signs will let you know. id google it more if you dont know much about it..i had to lol :)

being a first time mommy too, im wondering the samee thingg about when to know your in laborr!!! but ive been watching ALOT of baby shows and reading up alot about it... not everyones water breaks, or loose their mucus plug.. pretty much according to what ive read, we just gotta wait for "real" contractions... they last around 30 seconds and happen like every 10-15 mins and then get closer... thats how im gonna know to go to the hospital lol

I know it's easy to say, but don't be nervous. You will know when your in labor and your body will know exactly what to do. Just sit back and enjoy these last days with your little one in your belly....it will all be over soon and you will miss it. Keep us posted!
