Saw my midwife this morning. The babys head is still not engaged. His head is high above the pelvis. I had to go to the labor ward this morning to be checked out by a doctor. The doctor felt the position of the baby and said to do these excercises to get the baby into position in my pelvis. I am booked in for induction next thursday, but hopefully i will go into labor before that. If his head is still not engaged i might need a c-section. I have got these excercises to do 5 times a day to help get the babys head in position, i have to go on all fours and wiggle my hips around with my bum in the air, or get on all fours and scrub the floor. I will give it a try lol. I am now 41 weeks so hopefully it might get things going. Forgot to mention i had a sweep this morning, and it was so uncomfortable and hurt a little. just have to wait and see what happens. Will keep you updated x

Yes i agree seems a bit silly to give you a sweep if the baby is not in position. I know thay can move once your in labour but isnt that relying on ifs and buts a bit? would have been better to have left you go natural until induction date i would have said and to give those exercises a chance to work. Saying that Aimee had to turn when i was in labour and was told it would take hours, but she'd done it an hour later so wh knows how quickly your little one will decide to get in position. God luck anyway x x
