04-10-2008 - Update 35 weeks

My mood while writing this blog: worried but calm

I had my scan yesterday, the baby is 5lb 1 ounce, he is 2 weeks behind. They doctors said I could go home I have to go back on tuesday to see the doctor. they told me that his leg measurements and and head measurements are just on target but his wiast measurement is 2weeks behind! So i'm gonna try and rest as much as i can and eat like a horse see if it helps, i asked the mid wife if that would make a difference she said it might, couldn't hurt to try!! i have to have another scan in a week or 2 to see how much he has put on and if they aren't happy with he growth they might induce me early because then he can be cared for easier. I guess that's not too bad because a baby born after 37 weeks is considered full term so... i'm just gonna do as I told and try not worry, if I get worried about anything then i'll just go to my doctor, its less than 5mins up the road and the emergency caredoc clinic is 10 mins away or i'll go straight to hospital! i'm not gonna take any chances and my doctor is very good he never makes m feel like i'm over reacting even if it turns out to be nothing he always says "better safe then sorry? there's no such thing a pregnant hypocondriact!!"

Any advice on ways to fatten him up a little bit would be much appreciated!!
