11-10-2008 - Update: Scan

My mood while writing this blog: Aces

I had my scan yesterday, and the baby is now 5lb 8 ounces! So that's & ounces in 7 days!! not bad at all!!

I was so delighted! The midwife zoomed in on the babies heart and i could see all the valves and chambers of the heart! the center of the heart looked like a bird flying and flapping its wings!! I asked her to look and see if she couls tell sex just to double check! Definitly a boy, and she showed us the face and he looks like my sister just going on his nose and lips!! So cute! the little button nose!!

My next appointment is on Tuesday i'm not getting a scan just a check up! so much travelling to the hospital! it was so much easier when i could go to gorey for my appointments just 10 mins on the bus! now its over an hour drive and most of the time i have get a bus and that almost 2 hours! Still it would be worse if i had to go to dublin
