My mood while writing this blog: Bored!

1. WAS YOUR FIRST PREGNANCY PLANNED? Yes, we tried for nearly 2 years before i got pregnant.

2. WERE YOU MARRIED AT THE TIME? Yes

3. WHAT WAS YOUR REACTION? Shocked and excited! I cried a lot!

4. WAS ABORTION AN OPTION FOR YOU? No

5. HOW OLD WERE YOU? 27 when I delivered

6. HOW DID YOU FIND OUT YOU WERE PREGNANT? My doc called me on the phone while i was in line at the Red Hot and Blue, picking up dinner to bring to the bowling ally for my Dad and I. I was a bit shocked b/c what was apparently morning sickenss, i thought was a bad reaction to my medication.

7. WHO DID YOU TELL FIRST? I called Craig and told him first.

8. DID YOU WANT TO FIND OUT THE SEX? Yes! My little man was spread eagle so it was easy to tell!

9. DUE DATE? June 2nd

10. DID YOU HAVE MORNING SICKNESS? A little. Just and upset tummy and headaches.

11. WHAT DID YOU CRAVE? Anything sugar! I had gestational diabetes, so i was craving everything i couldn't have :-(

12. WHO/WHAT IRRITATED YOU THE MOST? PUPPS! That was the worst! I never knew a mother could basically have a physical reaction to her baby!

13. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CHILD'S SEX? Male

14. DID YOU WISH YOU HAD THE OPPOSITE SEX OF WHAT YOU WERE GETTING? Nope

15. HOW MANY POUNDS DID YOU GAIN THROUGHOUT THE PREGNANCY? 3 (yep thats it! Thank goodness for the gestational diabetes!)

16. DID YOU HAVE A BABY SHOWER? Yes, two!

17. WAS IT A SURPRISE OR DID YOU KNOW? I knew

18. DID YOU HAVE ANY COMPLICATIONS DURING YOUR PREGNANCY? I had gestational diabetes, PUPPS and constant migraines.

19. WHERE DID YOU GIVE BIRTH? Fort Belvoir, VA (Dewitt Hospital)

20. HOW MANY HOURS WERE YOU IN LABOR? From the start of the induction to his birth was 29 and half hours!

21. WHO DROVE YOU TO THE HOSPITAL? My dear hubby, Craig.

22. WHO WATCHED YOU GIVE BIRTH? Both Craig and my mom were there.

23. WAS IT NATURAL OR C-SECTION? natural with meds - lots and lots of meds:)

24. DID YOU TAKE MEDICINE TO EASE THE PAIN? Yes! I think my dear husband requested it when my head basically spun around and (per him) i spit pea soup out my mouth. I keep telling him it was just the Jello they gave me. hehe.

27. HOW MUCH DID YOUR CHILD WEIGH? 7 lbs 4.5oz born on his due date.

28. WHEN WAS YOUR CHILD ACTUALLY BORN? June 2, 2005

30. WHAT DID YOU NAME HIM/HER? Joshua Aiden

31. HOW OLD IS YOUR FIRST BORN TODAY? 3 and half years old!
