05-8-2009 - 19/20 week check-up

My mood while writing this blog: Ok

went to the doc today and they didnt get the u/s stuff yet but said even though the baby is at 20 weeks, no due date changed, which i saw coming, but i still am measuring my babys development as if he just turned 20 weeks, not 19. she said they enver go with the earlier date unless its really extreme difference , she said to imagine the baby not coming until jan 15th over 2 weeks late!! ya right, ill induce myself by then. plus i have a wedding to attend the 16th, lol. besides that i measure well, baby boy still has a strong heartbeat, i am on the smallest side of weight gain but as i think im too heavy and was on a diet a week before i found out i was pregnant , i think lighter is ok as long as my baby is fine. He hated the doppler, something finally woke him up you could hear him kicking it , and i could feel him for about 10 minutes after letting me know hes wide awake, i still find it really neat but weird to feel him moving , especially after i sneeze, he doesnt like that much either! hope everyone else is happy cooking their little ones!

Glad to hear baby is going well.....they also refused to change my dd from December 29th to December 25th. (she only wrote the 25th for my afp test which needs an accurate dd). She said they only change the dd if it is over a week difference!

I am experiencing the same things. My boy is still measuring a week bigger. I haven't gained any weight the whole time and every time they check his heart rate he kicks the probe. He really hates that thing! I really wish they would change my due date though.
