when is everyone leaving work?? Im beginning to feel like it may be time for me to chill out. I know my job is laid back and I sit down all day, but its still tiring to have to get up and get ready and get to work on time and work all day and then go home and do laundry and dishes and cook dinner....i just feel like Im non stop and I have been throughout my entire pregnancy....I just need some advice as to when everyone normally leaves work to start getting ready for babys arrival....Im 34 weeks now.....what do you think......

I plan on working til the day before my due date but believe you me I would love tpo leave work tomorrow f I could afford to. I work as a Nursery teacher so I have 26 little 3 - 4 year olds to contend with and belev me I am bending over constantly, tidying up after them, picking them up if they fall over and with all the Christmas natvities etc to get done I am exhausted and covered in glue and glitter by the tme I get home! LOL If you can afford to leave work then my advice would be to do it - you will need the rest before the baby comes when the sleepless nights start to kck in!!

I WISH I could leave work early. If I wanted to use my valuable vacation before maternity leave I guess I could. But I don't want to. I'd rather be at work and get paid and make everyone around me feel sorry for me than sit at home and feel fat and miserable. LOL!!! But, I'm going to take 12 weeks off work. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

I, personally, plan on working up until i go into labor. Like someone else said it depends on you and your situation. I know that we would be able to afford if i left early but i think i would just become super lazy at home and do nothing. At my job they are very understanding about me leaving to go home and nap or calling in b/c some morning i need a nap after getting up, showering, and getting dresses (it is all so draining).

In canada, the goverment starts our maternity leave @ 32 weeks. If you are capable of working than go ahead, Buut if you are feeling the way you do maybe its time to call it quits and just relax. I already stopped working @ 28 weeks. I know thats early, but my body was telling me that was enough!
