03-11-2009 - an insy winsy bit concerned

My mood while writing this blog:
ok

so ive been reading all about what and where your baby should be at at 9 months and most of it is true but other things just worry me. the MAIN thing that bothers me is all brayden says is da da da da da.....seriously.....over and over, he will not say anything else!? and so when i read all these things it makes me feel like he either behind or isnt learning right or something :( i try to get him to say other things all the time and he just wont....he just laughs at me when i tell him to say mama!!! and every now and then he will spit out a BA or something but i feel like hes not on track if the 9 month thing says he should be able to say certain WORDS.......anyone else experience this? any advice?

Isnt it funny how us mommy's are 24/7 around our babies...yet their first words are Da-Da.....lol....is anyone else finding this a bit weird:)...But no I wouldnt worry..Aidyn is doing the same. I sometimes find myself wondering if he's behind also....but each baby is different. Our daughter was milestones ahead of Aidyn...(Already walking at 9-10 months) and Aidyn doesnt even want to crawl...lol..So be patient...your time will come..lol(Mama)..

Jude is 9 and a half months and he says momma when he wants me (normally only when he is upset lol) and dada but other than that he just says tons of babble words like gaga and other non-word sounds. im not worried at all though.

Well Xavier will be 9 months on the 18th and all he says is da da over and over (and over) also. He also laughs when we tell him to say mama!! I wouldn't worry at all. All babies develop at their own pace. Take this for example, my husband has a little cousin that crawled at 5 months old and walked at 6 months!! I kid you not!!! Can you imagine that?? Don't stress out about that. As long as he's a healthy and happy baby everything else will come in time! Just think, if your son is behind then mine is too, lol!! Love ya, xoxo.

Zariya was 9mo on Oct 17. I think she is so much further behind my other 2 (my son was already taking steps by now and walking by 10 mo). She can barely crawl on all fours. She babbles away...says da da ma ma and not much else. Not directed at anyone. Honestly, she's fine. So is Brayden. They are so different this early. I remember with my son how advanced he seemed compared to my other two friends who's kids were 5 months older than him! But now they're all similar. I know it's hard but don't worry. They will tell you at the doc's apts if there is anything to worry about. =)

addy wil be 9 months on the 14th... and she does the same thing... always says da da or baba... but thats it... and its not directed to him... its just babbling... and i always read peoples babies saying baba or dada or mama and having it meaning something...
