I usually get strong BH's right when I lay down at night to watch TV right before bed. They started again last night, but this time I had lower back pain that radiated to my lower abdomen and down my thighs. After about 1/2 hour - 1 hour of these (like8 of them) I decided to call the doctor. Because I live an hour away from the hospital, she told me to go in and get checked. Sure enough, contractions were every 3-4 mins and I had dilated to a 1. I was going by my last 3 u/s and thought I was 34 wks, but when she called my Dr. she said, we are still going by her last LMP and she is only 33 wks, so way tooooo early to let baby come out..... They gave me 2 shots to stop contractions that made me really jittery (I hate feeling that way) and after about 2 hours was told to go home, rest alot, come back if contractions are more than 8 in an hour, to have them stopped again. I'm sooo ready for this baby to come out, but I guess it is best to wait. Dr. said she would stop them till 35 wks the Earliest!!! and maybe even longer.... I don't know why she just doesn't do an u/s and see the baby's wt and go by that? I guess I got to take it slow for the next few wks..... I know that's what's best for the baby!!

That's crazy! Yesterday I was feeling strong contractions for about an hour about 3mins apart. I got up and went to take a walk and they subsided. Try and get as much rest as possible! I hope everything works out for you---keep up posted:)
