| 06-6-2009 - things are gooood... | My mood while writing this blog:happy/ nervous |
So things have gotten really good lately and I'm a little nervous that things are gonna get bad again. I dont know, just seems like for the past year every time things get good, things blow up in my face soon there after.
First off, the school year is about to end and I'll get to spend all day everyday with my little princess. I know I'll get frustrated some but for the most part it's gonna be so much fun. I've already got our first mini trip planned; we'll be headed to the Northern VA/ DC area next Thursday to visit one of my best friends. I also wanna try to go to Philly where another best friend lives. Sooooo happy I made it through another school year and now get 2.5 months off!
Secondly, Roland and I have been getting along very well for a couple weeks. He actually just left here, visiting Jayde. He brought two of his bros with him this time which was good because I don't see much of his fam anymore since things have been so rocky between us. I'm happy we're not hostile with each other; don't get me wrong, I don't trust him nor do I appreciate the way he's treated me or my daughter for the past year, but I'm willing to give him a chance to earn my trust and friendship back. He knows that right now he can only see Jayde on my terms. Eventually, I wanna be to the point where we share custody of Jayde but not get involved with the courts. Right now it's just nice to not stress or fight.
Lastly, I've had my nephew since last night. My sister had to work and couldn't find anyone to watch him. I was scared at first because he's 17 months old and I was a little afraid to take care of two babies. However, it's gone well. He slept in my bed with me and I was able to still get up in the middle of the night with Jayde just fine. We all went to the park today and things just went as smoothly as they could have with two children under 2. Jayde's now asleep and Eathan's (my nephew) mom should be here to get him in 10 or 20 mins. This made me realize that I do want another child within the next 3 years...we'll see though. Single motherhood is hard enough with one child so I'd rather be married first.
Well, ladies, hope all is well in your lives as well! God sure has been gooooood!
