I need to vent ladies!

My GM came in to my office last night and is cutting my hours in half! Literally in half!!!! I am going to start working 5 ~ 4 hour days instead of 8 hour days! And then bring me back full time during the busy months. I asked if she could work with me and give me at least 5 hours a day, and she said "no, I just don't see the need to pay someone to sit there and do nothing for an extra hour"! DO NOTHING????? I bust my ass for this company, I'm the first person to volunteer to help everyone else out, there are people in this company that bitch and get pissed off when someone asks them for help. I am always early to work, and always late to leave, I'm supposed to take an hour lunch, and I'm usually back in 45 minutes. What the hell??? I guess I should have been a bitch, and told everyone to "F" off when they needed help.

I'm sorry for the negative blog, and the terrible language. I'm just so damned frustrated right now. We are still paying my hospital bill, Karson's formula is $25.00 - $30.00/can, and he goes through almost 2 cans a week now, the holidays are coming, ~I could go on & on.....the only good thing out of this, is I get afternoon's with Karson. So, I am going to find something to do in the afternoons to make a little money. I guess though I should be grateful that she is letting me keep my benefits. Thanks for letting me vent, like I said sorry it's so negative!!!!

I understand...we lost our 401k match, our pension, and took a 5% pay cut...NOW they are making us pay 15% more for insurance...delightfulHang in there.

I know how it is. This has been done to me as well. The economy is terrrible. I guess they expect everyone to work their ass off for nothing. I hope it works out for you.

Thats bull they instead of cutting everybody's hours they should of gone through and cut the hours based off of who is willing to work the most and who has done the most for them. Its not right that your hours get cut back the same as somebody who doesn't want to work and complains! And how nice of them to say you do nothing what the hell i'd be pissed too! That is good that you'll get to spend more time w/ Karson to bad the timing wasn't better right before the holidays to just spring that on you really sucks! Hopefully you are able to find something to make a little extra money on the side! Hope things get better girl!

I'm so sorry. That stinks. We just had a scary morning at work. A guy was stalking a girl that worked here and he followed her to work and shot at her -- 3 shots in front of our building -- one of the shots shot out the window on the car. Yikes! There are some scary people out there.

Well first off, we need to get you started on the generic shizzzz. They have generic in almost any special formula that you need, and the ingredients are exactly the same! At half the cost!!! And yes WIC is an excellent program, very helpful. Sorry about your job, It stinks when you are the most helpful, you are the first one to get the shaft! It is good you get to keep the benefits, hey and you get to spend that much more time with your handsome little booger, right? We are here for your venting pleasure!!!! xoxoxo

Sorry to hear about your job situation. I hope you will find a small extra job that you can do from home and also have that extra time with Karson. Who knows, maybe this is a blessing in disguise, even if your boss seems unfair. Hugs! Karin
