11-5-2009 - MOVING AT 37 Weeks Prego!!! and 35 week appointment uncertainMy mood while writing this blog:
uncertain

Well today I had my 35 week appointment. I have been having contractions so my doc went ahead and did the strep B test and checked my progress. With my last pregnancy I didn't even dilate until AFTER I was in the hospital having contractions every 2.5-3 minutes! Anyway, so when the doc checked me and my cervix is 50% and 1.25 cm dilated I suspect the contractions are helping my body to prepare. The baby is definately head down and has dropped somewhat into the pelvic area. The doctor felt his head when checking...weird/cool. The doctor says labor will most likely be quicker and sooner this time around. I hate not knowing. The thing is I can not have the baby from week 37 to week 38. I won't be covered by insurance during that week. I had to cancel my insurance due to my husband quitting his job and moving 12-15 hours away to another state for graduate school! We will be getting on the new insurance June 1st. This means that I will not be covered for an entire week! That is stressful! Also, we will be moving to a location with an extremely hot climate. I will have to live by the pool.

Wow! That's a tough situation to be in! So you're moving AND dealing with the stress of going into labor without insurance. I will pray that everything works out for you... :)

Oh my! Well I hope for the financial sake that your little one doesn't come during that week of June. Take care and relax :)
