My mood while writing this blog: Yuck |
Well 8 weeks!! I still cant believe it all.... I have to say so far I'm not enjoying it as much as I thought I would! I know it's going to get better but I had a bad day today.... All minor things but Aghhhhhh!!!!! I have nothing to wear already to work that is I changed 5 times this morning then I was late, I brought a pair of pants and a skirt on Sat which is great but they are not really suitable for the office and I cant find anything else!!! The shopping in Brisbane for maternity is so far terrible, the problem is I am trying to hide it at work and I am struggling, I am not a big build and I have a belly now so it's really noticable!!! God I would not have thought I'd be showing at 8 weeks but I am and I dont want to hide it!!
My boobs are so so sore I cant stand it, I could not find a comfy bra to buy today so I have ended up with a sports crop top. I am constipated and now I have haemaroids wonderful!!!!! I have got some dissovable fibre today but it's a bit late! My poor Husband is working his but off in the unit and I cant help, the worse part of that is I'm sitting here alone every night and doing nothing of a weekend, which is rare for us. He feels bad because we need to get the unit done so we can rent it out and start saving extra money for this little baby :)
God I sound like a winger!!!!
Ahhh there I feel better already just writing it all down!!

Friday, 26 Jun I know how you feel.... it takes me so long to get ready in the morning because i can't find anything to wear that makes me feel "pretty". My boyfriend always says i look great but i just feel like a slob. lol. I live on an island and we hardle have any maternity stores...so i don't really have a choice in what i wear. I'm actually a size 0 so everything is showing lol. i like it though.
I haven't had any problems with my boobs so far...they aren;t sore at all. My nipples are a bit sensitive but thats all. Sorry to hear yours are bugging you so much.

Tuesday, 23 Jun I know exactly how you feel!!! I felt SO daggy at work for the first few months until I finally got big enough to wear actual maternity clothes. The fold down style pants and skirts are the best. I call them fisherman pants. They’re really comfortable and look good for work. You can fold the waistband down under your belly or wear it up over your belly as you get bigger. I saw some black pants at target last week. Also, any sleeveless style dress that gathers under the bust works really well. During winter you can wear it with a shirt underneath (even if you can’t button it all the way up no one will know) and tights or boots. Also try eBay for maternity clothes. There are quite a few good stores that sell stuff that is new and it’s much cheaper than in the maternity shops. I got a little belly straight away too but there was nowhere else for it to go when I weighed 49kg and was a size 8.
Boobs. My husband was worried that he’d never get to touch again. They were SO sore for ages and my nipples felt like they were on fire but it did get better! Bras with underwire drove me insane and I started to pop out of my normal bras within the first 8 weeks. I ended up buying maternity bras because these were the most comfortable. The bonds ones are really good! I also have a couple of target brand maternity bras which are pretty good too. But definitely allow an extra cup size if it doesn’t look and feel too ridiculously big because you will need it. I was a B cup before I fell pregnant and now I’m up to a D!
I didn’t ever suffer from too much constipation… I had more the opposite problem. But I started taking Inner Health Plus pretty early on in the pregnancy and it really helped to keep my body digesting the way it should.
Hope all of this helps.
