06-7-2009 - WOW!!!! Its a BABY!!!!

My mood while writing this blog: Happy!!!

I had my first scan today and its a.... Baby!!! I'm so stunned and happy and shocked! I dont know what I thought I was going to see but actually seeing a little Baby in there was just amazing!!! I cant believe I am actually really truly going to have a Baby!!! Its actually happening to me :) Scott was very quiet as was I we are simply amazed that its going to happen, I really think it will start to sink in a little more now that we have seen it. The heart beat was good and strong and the Baby measured 33.3mm from head to rump so I am spot on with my time, 10 weeks.

I keep wanting to say little boy, but for now i'd better say Baby J.... was floating around kicking its little legs and waving its arms around having a wonderful time! It made it really hard to get a good picture so I cant wait to have my next scan at 13 weeks at the actual scan place as that will be a much bigger picture and a better quality scan so we will get to see more, its hard to see much in this picture but the legs and arms were easily seen and it looked so cute!

I'm in love already....the chances of anything going wrong are about 1% so I'm feeling so much happier!!
