03-4-2009 - A bit irritated CrabbyMy mood while writing this blog:
Crabby

Hi everyone. I really don't like bothering anyone with my high risk pregnancy problems, but I need to vent. I am pretty irritated right now. I have a high risk ultrasound on Monday in a city 6 hours from me. They called today and cancelled because my local clinic didn't get certain labs done far enough in advance to get the results by today. Aargh! Now they are demanding I come on the 16th of April when I have the tests. I get them cancelling Monday (even though it is stressful/disappointing not knowing what's wrong with the baby), but the fact they can demand a certain day is irritating. My hubby's nephew is having surgery that day and my husband is short staffed as his main employee is gone (it's two days before the employee's wedding and he told my hubby months ago). Anyway, I will probably have to go by myself as my husband/in-laws run a family business and my inlaws are headed 4 hours in a different direction for nephew's surgery. AARGH! Not happy at all and the specialist's nurse (I requested to speak directly to her to see if anything could be done) merely told me that's too bad and to take it or not come at all. Hubby really wants to be there and I really want to have him there, especially if we get bad news about the baby (concerned it's not developing from local sonos i've had). I am really upset right now. AARGH!

I thought I had a lot going on with the new house and trying to do the whole baby thing on my own being high risk too. I feel for you and have noticed a lot of people having to go far off for a specialist, I'm lucky to have a local one. Anyways I wish you the best for you and your baby.
